My Story
Hi, I'm Barclay, the photographer behind Fueled Images. My love for photography began as a kid, watching my dad—a dedicated photography hobbyist—pause on every family trip to line up the perfect shot. He’d adjust his camera settings with quiet precision while my mom and I waited (impatiently). When he upgraded to a shiny new Minolta autofocus camera, he handed me his trusty old Ricoh SLR, and suddenly, I was no longer just watching. I was part of it—part of capturing moments, freezing time, and telling stories through a lens.
That passion for photography led me to college in the ’90s, where I majored in Photography and Video Production. I worked on the set of MotorWeek during an internship with PBS, soaking up every second behind the scenes as the industry transformed from analog to digital. But life took me in a different direction. The world of IT opened up, and I spent years building a successful career in tech. I excelled, but something was missing.
I was no longer just watching. I was part of it—part of capturing moments, freezing time, and telling stories through a lens.
It wasn’t until I became a motorcycle safety instructor in 2019 that everything started to come full circle. Teaching others to ride reminded me of the freedom, joy, and clarity I felt as a kid with a camera in my hand. I picked up my camera again—this time with purpose—and Fueled Images was born.
Today, I specialize in capturing motorsports, landscapes, and wildlife—moments of speed, beauty, and raw energy. Whether it’s a roaring motorcycle frozen mid-turn, a breathtaking sunset over the mountains, or wildlife in its natural element, my goal is simple: to tell powerful stories through images.
Fueled Images is more than a brand; it’s the culmination of my journey—my passion for photography, my love of adventure, and my commitment to sharing the world as I see it.
